  • Be flexible, non-bureaucratic and focused on risk management.

  • Ensure all duty holders effectively plan projects and co-operate and co-ordinate between all project members.

  • Ensure designers pay adequate regard to health and safety during construction and management, cleaning and use.

  • Manage the collection, collation, storage and retrieval of information on health and safety risks for the Pre-construction Information and Health & Safety File.
