Tracey Kirby’s CV

Tracey has over 25 years experience in the construction industry. She worked previously for Birmingham City Council and WS Atkins Consultancy Limited within the highways department and Midlands Link motorway structures team. In 2000 Tracey moved to Associated Architects to develop the role of Planning Supervisor/CDMC and Health and Safety Manager for the practice.

Tracey Kirby Consultancy was formed in September 2007 in order to demonstrate independency of the role of the CDM Co-ordinator as set out within the 2007 regulations. With the introduction of the new 2015 regulations, TKC will undertake the role of Principal Designer (PD) – either employed directly by the client or as a sub-consultant to the appointed Principal Designer.

Tracey has extensive experience working with a wide range of clients and projects and now specialises in Health & Safety. With an understanding and appreciation for design and site logistics Tracey has a practical, ‘hands on’ approach to Health & Safety. Tracey works closely with clients who want their premises to remain fully operational whilst undertaking major construction projects.

Tracey is a Registered Fellow of the Association of Project Safety and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.
